What is the Obeya Coach Training?

The Obeya Coach Training goes beyond simply setting up and facilitating an Obeya for a team or project. This course focuses on creating a cohesive Obeya structure that spans the entire organization. You’ll learn how to design interconnected Obeyas and establish an Obeya management system that facilitates effective decision-making. The training provides you with the tools to guide organizations through the process of implementing and working with Obeyas—an enriching experience grounded in change management.

What Will You Learn?

The Obeya Coach Training consists of:

• Intake Session: Before the training, we conduct an intake session to assess your organization’s current situation and determine the best approach for implementing or improving the Obeya structure.
• Two Training Days + Intervision: Deepen your knowledge of the Obeya management system and change management practices. Midway through your practical assignment, you’ll participate in an intervision session where you share progress, lessons learned, and experiences.
• Practical Assignment: After the two training days, you’ll undertake a six-month practical assignment, where you’ll implement a portion of the Obeya structure in your organization. This will also serve as your exam piece.
• Ongoing Coaching: Throughout your practical assignment, our trainers will provide coaching and support to help you apply what you’ve learned.
• Practical Exam: At the end of your assignment, you’ll present your work, sharing successes and areas for improvement to demonstrate your ability to implement an Obeya effectively.
• Certification: Upon successful completion of the Obeya Coach Training, you will receive the Obeya Coach Certificate.
